Drew Bagley Joins Zentila as COO

September 20, 2011

Winter Garden, FL – September 20, 2011 – Drew Bagley has joined Zentila, the recently launched hospitality technology company, as Chief Operating Officer, or Z.O.O.  The announcement was made by Mike Mason, Z.E.O. and founder of Zentila.

In his new position, Bagley will be responsible for marketing and service operations.  In this role, Bagley will seek to create brand awareness and grow meeting planner registrations and to position the company for growth through future external investments.

Bagley brings over 10 years of online, business to business experience to Zentila, having most recently served as the vice president of strategic planning and analytics for Embanet-Compass Knowledge Group, an organization that helps non-profit colleges and universities to market, recruit, and support students in the online higher education degree space.  For almost a decade before that, Bagley worked in finance, business, development, operations and marketing for Compass Knowledge.

“Drew’s background in the on-line B2B space is the perfect combination of specialties to help grow and market our burgeoning company,” said Mason.  “We’ve been hand-picking the leaders for Zentila to ensure a level of talent and innovation that will keep our group moving in the right direction, and Drew will be an integral member of the Z-Team.”

Based in Orlando, Bagley holds an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.A. from Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Launched in July 2011, Zentila is a sales solution for hotels, as the first-ever online booking engine specifically focused on short-term meetings (STMs), which are meetings booked within 90 days of the arrival date. Beyond providing a user-friendly application to search and source pre-qualified venues, Zentila offers access exclusively to the top upscale and luxury meeting hotels in the country, which already capture 85 percent of the STMs.  The company also promises planners a three-hour bid turnaround time versus the traditional three to five days it currently takes planners to search and source.   For more information, go to www.zentila.com, or call (407) 656-5683.
