Tom Murphy Joins Zentila as Chief Technology Officer

Orlando, FL – June 14, 2012 – Tom Murphy has joined Zentila, the online booking tool for meetings, as Chief Technology Officer. The announcement was made by Mike Mason, Zentila’s founder and Z.E.O.

In his new position, Murphy will be responsible for web development and deployment of the company’s web presence. He will guide the technological vision for the organization and assure the successful execution of Zentila’s mission as a web-based business.

Murphy brings more than 20 years of technology leadership in software and development to Zentila, having most recently served as the technical director for Electronic Arts, a leading global interactive entertainment software company. Previously, Murphy held the position of C.T.O. at Alinean, Inc.

“Our company is at a point now where we need the expertise of a strong IT veteran, with a clear vision,” said Mason. “Tom’s talents are a great complement to our Z-Team of innovators, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”

Based in Orlando, Murphy holds a B.S. in Computer Science and in Mathematics from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.
