Zentila Wins Four W3 Awards

October 31, 2011

ZENTILA BRINGS HOME THE GOLD (AND SILVER!)

New Company Receives Four W³ Awards

Winter Garden, Fla. – October 31, 2011 – Zentila, the recently launched hospitality technology company, is the recipient of four prestigious industry awards for the design and functionality of its website.  The W³ Awards is a competition that celebrates outstanding websites, web marketing, web video and mobile apps, and is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

The awards, which included a Gold Award in the “General Website, Hotel and Lodging” category, and Silver Awards in the “Travel,” “Web Applications and Services” and “Visual Appeal” categories, were achieved in collaboration with Florida-based company squareFACTOR, Zentila’s web design agency. The Zentila entries were selected from more than 3,000 competitors.

“We are ecstatic that our site, which is the main staple of our company’s foundation, has been recognized in such a significant way,” said Mike Mason, founder and ZEO of Zentila.  “As a start-up company, we were very particular about the partners we chose.  Not only would they be building our site, but also building our company and our branding at the same time.”

“Working with the visionaries at Zentila enabled us to realize our potential and do our very best work, and we are tremendously proud of what we’ve accomplished on their behalf,” said Sean Hartman, principal of squareFACTOR.  “The recognition from this team of professionals who we really respect is much appreciated validation, and we are honored to be among this year’s group of W3 Award winners.

The W³ Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs. Simply put, the W³ is the first major web competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms, and everyone in between. Small firms are as likely to win as Fortune 500 companies and international agencies.

The W³ is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from organizations such as AvatarLabs, Big Spaceship, Block Media, Conde Nast, Coach, Disney, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Estee Lauder, Fry Hammond Barr, Microsoft, MTV Networks, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby's Institute of Art, Victoria's Secret, Wired, Yahoo! and many others.

“We could not have found more creative, talented and collaborative partners than the team at squareFACTOR,” said Mason.  “Our hats are off to them for this outstanding achievement.”

About Zentila

Based in Winter Garden, Fla., Zentila is the brainchild of hospitality industry veteran Mike Mason, who identified a window of sales opportunity for hotels that was potentially lucrative, but difficult to sell against.  In an effort to capitalize on the growing trend to book Short Term Meetings (STMs), namely 90 days or less from when the meeting would actually take place, he set out on a journey to create an easier path between hotels and planners.  The result is the first-ever online booking engine for meetings that also acts as a sales solution for hotels.  For more information, visit www.zentila.com or call (407) 656-5683.
